Conversion audits for product paths that must perform

I trace the paths users take from landing to activation, upgrade, or purchase — and identify where intent dies because of copy, layout, performance, or missing trust signals.

Overview

Conversion work is not about adding more buttons. It is about reducing uncertainty at each step: pricing clarity, social proof, perceived risk, speed, and whether the UI matches the promise on your landing page.

I audit product conversion paths end to end — acquisition landing, signup, onboarding, upgrade prompts, checkout, and post-purchase confirmation — with an engineer’s eye on performance and a product eye on motivation.

You receive a funnel diagnosis, hypothesis list, experiment ideas, and fixes you can ship this sprint alongside bigger structural bets.

Common drop-off points in SaaS conversion paths

Relative frequency of high-impact friction found during conversion audits.

How it works

Day 1Metrics review — Current funnel, drop-off points, and business constraints.
Days 2–3Path replay — Recorded flows, speed checks, and competitor benchmarks.
Days 4–5Findings doc — Issues, hypotheses, and quick wins vs bigger bets.
Day 6Review call — Align product, growth, and engineering on what ships first.

Outcomes teams care about

  • Experiment backlog tied to revenue, not vanity UI tweaks
  • Shared diagnosis across marketing, product, and engineering
  • Faster iteration because blockers are documented with evidence
  • Better instrumentation so growth work compounds

Frequently asked questions

Do you need our analytics access?

Helpful but not required. Screenshots of Amplitude, Mixpanel, or GA funnels accelerate the work. I can also audit qualitatively from staging if metrics are limited.

Is this only for e-commerce checkout?

No. Most of my conversion work is B2B SaaS: trial signup, seat expansion, upgrade modals, and onboarding paths that must activate teams.

Will you write the copy?

The audit includes copy recommendations and examples. Full copywriting or landing page builds can be scoped separately.

Can you implement experiments?

Yes. I often stay on to ship frontend changes, feature flags, and analytics hooks after the audit.

Want a conversion path that matches your growth goals?

Share your product URL, main funnel, and what “success” means numerically. I will propose audit scope and next steps.
